Workshop at the Diocesan
Parish Leadership Training Event (PLTE)
St. Stephen's - Birmingham
This workshop is designed for
Parish ECW leaders and clergy. It is an all-day workshop led by our
Diocesan ECW officers. The morning session offers information about
the ECW website, the organizational structure of ECW, the ECW budget and
an overview of ECW activities. The afternoon session will consist of
a panel discussion about holding Parish ECW meetings as well as program
and project ideas for Parish ECW’s. For further information, please contact:

Attention ECW Presidents:
Each parish in our Diocese will receive two CALENDAR HANDBOOKS each year.
The calendar handbook will be available at Fall Conference or from your
Convocation Coordinator. If you need extras, you may order as many
as you wish at $3.00 each. If you have a date set for an event in
the next calendar year, please send your information and orders to the
President Elect by July 31. |

Support the college students from your parish by sending their names to
the college chaplains in our diocese. |

121th Annual ECW Fall Conference, hosted by the
Cheaha Convocation.
 The
Rev. Margaret Rose will present the program at the Fall Conference.
She is the Director of the Mission Leadership Center at the Episcopal
Church Center, New York. Under her direction are many divisions,
including Missionaries, Chaplaincies, Theological Education, Lay Ministry
and Women’s Ministries and Leadership.
Her program will be on Mission and Ministries in the
Episcopal Church. She is quoted as saying, “I ...share the
conviction that the work women are doing today in the church and the world
is essential for its well being.” |
