Episcopal Church Women of the Diocese of Alabama

The ECW of St. Columba in-the-Cove, Owens Cross Roads, held a one day seminar entitled Seasons of Prayer, featuring the Rev. Kerry Holder Joffrion, Episcopal priest and ministry specialist for Interfaith Mission Service.  The liturgical cycles of the calendar year offer us numerous tools for transforming our spiritual lives, including the use of color, rhythm, the readings, and the sacraments.  Engaging these tools can enhance our spiritual journey, our prayer lives, and the church’s role in how we live out our faith.
